GMVS is committed to building sustainable communities where participation occurs in all areas and with all age groups and genders. Social and economic empowerment of women through micro-credit and income generation activities, capacity building, skill development, health care for all, adult literacy program, promoting education for all the children, especially girl children, social awareness programs, etc. are some of the major activities conducted to bring about social, economic and human developments. Vocational training centres are started to provide opportunity to acquire skill and take up income generating programs. We also work in collaboration with NABARD to reach out to the poorest of the poor in the communities.

Currently the project covers 40 villages in Asmoli region and 12 villages in Rahrai region with an approximate population of 120.000 and 25.000 subsequently. Our down to earth, bottom up approaches have brought about positive changes in these communities.
